Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 A Messenger from Allah reciting Purified Pages 2 Wherein are all the right ordinances. 3 Now those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime did break up their unity [of faith] after such an evidence of the truth had come to them. 4 And they were ordered only to worship Allah, believing purely in Him – devoted solely (to Him), and to establish the prayer and to pay the obligatory charity – and this is the straight religion. 5 Those who disbelieved – be they from among the People of the Book or among those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity– shall be in the Fire, and will abide in it. They are the worst of creatures. 6 (And) lo! those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings. 7 Their reward [awaits them] with God: gardens of perpetual bliss, through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time; well-pleased is God with them, and well-pleased are they with Him: all this awaits him who of his Sustainer stands in awe!. 8
