[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." 52 But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that We enlarge them in wealth and children, 55 We would hasten them on in every good? Nay, they do not understand. 56 Verily those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 Who believe in their Lord's revelations, 58 and do not ascribe partners to Him; 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 It is these who race for the good deeds, and they are foremost in them [e.g. offering the compulsory Salat (prayers) in their (early) stated, fixed times and so on]. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,- 63 Until when We overtake those who lead easy lives among them with punishment, lo! they cry for succor. 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 My verses were recited to you, but you turned upon your heels, 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Have they, then, never tried to understand this word [of God]? Or has there [now] come to them something that never came to their forefathers of old? 68 Or is it that they have not recognized their Apostle, so that they deny him? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 And were the truth to follow their desires there would have been corrupted the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is therein. Aye! We have come to them with their admonition; so it is from their admonition that they turn away. 71 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. 72 You are surely calling them to the right path. 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ And if We have mercy upon them and remove the calamity which has befallen them, they would still stubbornly persist, wandering in their rebellion. 75 And indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves before their Sustainer; and they will never humble themselves 76 until, when We open against them a door of terrible chastisement, lo, they are sore confounded at it. 77
