We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
