Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
