Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 storming tempestuously 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 and the severally severing 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 until an appointed time? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
