Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
