Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

THE AVARICE OF plenitude keeps you occupied 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Nay, would that you knew with certainty of knowledge (what your attitude will lead to, you would never have acted the way you do). 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
