And recall when the hypocrites and those whose hearts were diseased said: 'Their faith has deluded these (believers)'. But he who puts his trust in Allah shall find Allah All-Mighty, All-Wise. 49 And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved... They are striking their faces and their backs and [saying], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire. 50 That is for what your hands have forwarded, Allah is not unjust to His worshipers' 51 Their case is like that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They denied the signs of Allah and so Allah seized them for their sins. Surely Allah is All-Powerful, Stern in retribution. 52 This is because Allah would never change His favor that He bestowed upon a nation until they change what is in their hearts. Allah is Hearing, Knowing. 53 Similar to the behaviour of the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and those before them. They belied the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) for they were all Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.). 54 The most wicked creatures in the sight of God are the unbelievers who never have faith, 55 those of them with whom thou hast made compact then they break their compact every time, not being godfearing. 56 When you capture the (unbelievers) during a fight, teach them a lesson so that they thereafter will always be aware of the threat of your power. 57 If thou fearest treachery from any group, throw back (their covenant) to them, (so as to be) on equal terms: for Allah loveth not the treacherous. 58
