Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
