We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
