Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 As does boiling water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
