Muhammad (Muhammad)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THOSE WHO DISBELIEVE and obstruct (others) from the way of God will have wasted their deeds. 1 As for the believers who do good works and believe in what is sent down to Muhammad which is the truth from their Lord He will acquit them of their sins and repair their condition. 2 That is because those who disbelieved followed falsehood whereas those who believed followed the Truth that came to them from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth to people parables showing their true state. 3 So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom (themselves) until the war terminates. That (shall be so); and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have exacted what is due from them, but that He may try some of you by means of others; and (as for) those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will by no means allow their deeds to perish. 4 He will guide them, and dispose their minds aright, 5 And admit them to the Garden which He has announced for them. 6 O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm. 7 And for those who disbelieve – may they be ruined, and may Allah destroy all their deeds! 8 That is because they have been averse to what God has sent down, so He has made their works to fail. 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed through the land to see the end of those who went before them? Allah utterly destroyed them. These unbelievers are doomed to the same end. 10 This is because Allah is the Supporter of the believers, whereas the disbelievers do not have any supporter. 11
