Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 As sustenance for the bondmen; and with it We revived a dead city; this is how you will be raised. 11 [Long] before those [who now deny resurrection] did Noah's people give the lie to this truth, and [so did] the folk of Ar-Rass, and [the tribes of] Thamud 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
