Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By (the winds) that scatter dust. 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 And the ships that glide with ease. 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 And by oath of the decorated heaven. 7 Verily, [O men,] you are deeply at variance as to what to believe: 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Woe to the falsehood-mongers,- 10 Who are lost in deception. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 taking whatsoever their Lord has given them; they were good-doers before that. 16 Little of the night would they slumber, 17 and asked for forgiveness in the early morning. 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 For those with sure belief there are signs in the earth, 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23
