We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
