But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 if he had invented any lies about Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
