No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it departs. 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 it is a warning to man, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
