Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
