Say thou: mankind! I am unto you only a warner manifest. 49 Then (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have forgiveness and an honorable sustenance. 50 But the ones who strove against Our verses, [seeking] to cause failure - those are the companions of Hellfire. 51 We sent not ever any Messenger or Prophet before thee, but that Satan cast into his fancy, when he was fancying; but God annuls what Satan casts, then God confirms His signs -- surely God is All-knowing, All-wise -- 52 (This He permits) in order that He makes satan's interjections a temptation for those in whose hearts is a sickness and those whose hearts are hardened and the harmdoers are in a wide schism, 53 and that they who have been given knowledge may know that it is the truth from thy Lord and believe in it, and so their hearts be humble unto Him; and assuredly God ever guides those who believe to a straight path. 54 Those who reject Faith will not cease to be in doubt concerning (Revelation) until the Hour (of Judgment) comes suddenly upon them, or there comes to them the Penalty of a Day of Disaster. 55 On that day it is God who will be the Absolute King and Judge of (mankind). The righteously striving believers will go to Paradise 56 and the unbelievers who called Our revelations lies will suffer humiliating torment. 57
