۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
