The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
