▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
