Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
By the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 it is a warning to man, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
