Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection, 1 And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]. 2 Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? 3 Yea! We are able to make complete his very fingertips 4 Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins. 5 He asks: “When will the Day of Resurrection be?” 6 So when the eyes will be blinded by light. 7 the moon eclipsed. 8 and the sun and moon are brought together, 9 Man shall say on that day: Whither to fly to? 10 But nay: no refuge [for thee, O man]! 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat on that day. 12 To man will be declared on that Day that which he hath sent on and left behind. 13 Aye! man against himself shall be an enlightenment. 14 even though they make excuses. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 We Ourself shall see to its collection and recital. 17 When We recite it, follow its recitation (by Us). 18 The exposition of its meaning surely rests on Us. 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 and neglect the Hereafter. 21 Upon that day faces shall be radiant, 22 and will be looking towards their Lord; 23 and upon that day faces shall be scowling, 24 certain of facing a great calamity. 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 and it is said: “Is there any enchanter who can step forward and help (by his chanting)?” 27 and he realises that the hour of parting is come, 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession. 30
