And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
