▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
