The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
