Al-Hummazah

The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 in towering columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
