The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
