Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
