The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
