The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the night when it covers 1 By the Day as it appears in glory; 2 And [by] He who created the male and female, 3 Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse. 4 Then as for him who gives away and guards (against evil), 5 And (in all sincerity) testifies to the best,- 6 Surely We will ease his way unto the state of ease. 7 But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need 8 And denied the best matter, 9 So We will very soon provide him hardship. 10 And his riches will not avail him when he falls headlong (into the Abyss). 11 Indeed, Guidance is Ours, 12 And most surely Ours is the hereafter and the former. 13 and so I warn you of the raging fire 14 None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one. 15 who gives the lie to the truth and turns away [from it]. 16 And avoid it shall the most pious, 17 Who giveth his wealth that he may grow (in goodness). 18 And none hath with him any favour for reward, 19 Other than seeking the glory of his Lord, most high, 20 He will surely be well-pleased (with him). 21
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
