The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
