Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
