۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 Stop them. They must be questioned." 24 What aileth you that ye succour not one another? 25 Nay, but that Day they shall surrender, 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 They will say: verily ye! ye were wont to come unto us Imposing. 28 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- 29 We had no authority over you, in fact, you were a rebellious people. 30 But now our Lord's word has come true against us: truly, we are bound to taste [the punishment]. 31 we perverted you, indeed, we were perverts' 32 Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty. 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 They were those who, when it was said to them, "There is no god but God," behaved with insolence, 35 and said: 'Are we to renounce our gods for the sake of a mad poet' 36 Nay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the messengers (before him). 37 Lo! (now) verily ye taste the painful doom - 38 and will be recompensed only for what you deserve. 39 But the bondmen of Allah, the sincere ones 40 shall have a known provision -- 41 Fruits; and they shall be honoured, 42 in the Gardens of Bliss, 43 seated on couches, facing one another. 44 Cups of wine will be presented to them in rounds, from a spring flowing in front of them. 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 Neither they will have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin, etc.) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 And with them are those of modest gaze, with lovely eyes, 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other. 50 A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade 51 Who used to say: 'Are you one of those who can testify to the truth? 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 He said, “By Allah, you had nearly ruined me!” 56 If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]. 57 (Another will say:)"Is it true, we are not going to die 58 Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" 59 Surely this is the supreme triumph. 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is this not a better reward than the tree of Zaqqum 62 Verily, We have caused it to be a trial for evildoers: 63 Verily, it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-fire, 64 Its crop is as it were the heads of devils 65 on it they shall feed, and with it they shall fill their bellies. 66 Then after it, indeed for them is the drink of boiling hot water. 67 Then to Hell they will surely be returned. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 and they run in their footsteps. 70 Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them, 71 And indeed We had sent Heralds of warnings among them. 72 Then look how was the end of those who were warned - 73 Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 74
