Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 from which you turn away. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
