He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came unto him a blind man. 2 Yet for all thou didst know, [O Muhammad,] he might perhaps have grown in purity, 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 Yet you pay attention 5 to him didst thou give thy whole attention, 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 And to him who came to you eagerly 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 No indeed; this is only a Reminder. 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 It is set down on honoured pages, 13 exalted, purified, 14 (Set down) by scribes 15 Honourable and Virtuous. 16 Woe to man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what has God created him? 18 Of a small seed; He created him, then He made him according to a measure, 19 Then He makes the Path easy for him; 20 Then He causeth him to die, and putteth him in his grave; 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 Nay, but (man) hath not done what He commanded him. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 [how it is] that We pour down water, pouring it down abundantly; 25 and let the earth to break open 26 And caused to grow within it grain 27 grapes, and fresh fodder, 28 olives, dates, 29 the densely tree'd gardens, 30 and fruits and pastures 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 AND SO, when the piercing call [of resurrection] is heard 33 it will be such a day when a person will run away from his brother, 34 and his mother and his father; 35 And his wife and his children, 36 every man that day shall have business to suffice him. 37 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 38 laughing, and rejoicing, 39 And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained; 40 and covered by darkness. 41 These will be the faces of the sinful disbelievers. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
