And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
