Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
