THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
