And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
