[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
