Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
