The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In extending columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
