Children of Israel, recall My favors which you enjoyed. Fulfill your covenant with Me and I shall fulfill Mine. Revere only Me. 40 And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me. 41 Do not confound truth with falsehood, nor knowingly hide the truth while you know. 42 Be firm in devotion; give zakat (the due share of your wealth for the welfare of others), and bow with those who bow (before God). 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 And seek aid in steadfast patience and prayer: and this, indeed, is a hard thing for all but the humble in spirit, 45 who know for certain that they will meet their Lord, and that they will return to Him. 46
