Hizb 38

And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
