(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
