But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a plain Quran, 69 So that he may warn him who is alive and feels, and justify the word against those who do not believe. 70 Observe they not that We have created for them, of that which Our hands have worked, cattle: so that they are their owners. 71 We have subjected the cattle to them so that some of them they ride and eat the flesh of others. 72 Benefits and (divers) drinks have they from them. Will they not then give thanks? 73 But [nay,] they take to worshipping deities other than God, [hoping] to be succoured [by them, and not knowing that] 74 They will not be able to help them and will be brought (to Us) as their levied troops. 75 However, be not grieved by the sayings of those [who deny the truth]: verily, We know all that they keep secret as well as all that they bring into the open. 76 IS MAN, then, not aware that it is We who create him out of a [mere] drop of sperm - whereupon, lo! he shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue? 77 And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? 78 Say, "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life again: He has knowledge of every type of creation: 79 Who giveth you out of the green tree fire, and lo! ye kindle therewith. 80 Is not He, who created the heavens and earth, able to create the like of them? Yes indeed; He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 81 His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is. 82 So all glory to Him who holds all power over everything, to whom you will go back in the end. 83
