Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
