Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
